Innovation Search

Innovation Searches uncover a comprehensive as well as creative set of options to achieve an organization’s strategic goals

Innovation Searches uncover a comprehensive as well as creative set of options to achieve an organization’s strategic goals.

Innovation Searches bring together a diverse group of people to find innovative solutions to develop new products, services, or technologies, as well as to formulate new business models or strategies.

An Innovation Search follows a 3-part process:

  • Defining the Search goal as it relates to a larger strategic goal, and naming the consequences of failing or succeeding
  • Tapping into the expertise and values that can enable success, and analyzing the focus areas that need innovative solutions
  • Generating a wide variety of creative options and prioritizing the top concepts for further evaluation and decision making

One of the key advantages to our Innovation Search, even beyond the quality of ideas and concepts they produce, is the high quality of conversation among the stakeholders – inside and outside the organization – who will be impacted by the decisions that result from these quests for new, innovative solutions to strategic initiatives. This fosters a positive climate for wise, beneficial decision making.
